What can I ask at the visit?

Mark the questions that matter to you. Use them to get clear answers about the proposed medicine, the bill and follow-up.

How can I use the list?

Mark the questions you want answered. Ask the doctor, nurse practitioner or other licensed person treating you to answer them in plain words. Leave space in your notes for the replies.

Keep the replies beside the questions, especially for costs that repeat.

Mark the questions you want to take along.

What can I do when a reply is unclear?

Ask for the exact medicine name and a short explanation of any unfamiliar term. Repeat back what you understood and ask whether it is right.

Ask for costs and follow-up terms in writing. If a question has not been answered, write it down before deciding whether to pay.

What backs up the answer?

Boards / questions belong in care
